Skating

I totally forgot! We took Reid skating on New Year's Eve during the day. He did so great. He got a pair of bob skates for Christmas, and he was just wicked on the ice. It didn't take him long to get his balance. He could skate forward (tried to skate backwards like his dad). He was falling down, and then really mastering getting back up and regaining his balance on skates, which is amazing. By the end of it, he was getting his balance before he actually fell. I was pretty much in awe. A 22 month old, actually getting it. We were out there for 45 minutes. He's a little trooper. Then it got super warm, and the "rinks" that we were skating on just started to melt, and now it's super cold and windy and snowy. We're going to have to take him to the indoor skate this weekend at Village Square.
